Masturbation has been
seen with a very negative point of view that it affects the muscle growth or
fat loss and acts as a barrier to reach your fitness goals. But according to
researches done it is exactly the opposite i.e. it promotes physical, mental and
sexual health and is a completely healthy and natural behavior.
The Latin root of the word ‘masturbation’ is Manus Stuprare, meaning self-abuse or self-defilement by one’s own hand. The fact is that there is no medical evidence to prove that masturbation is bad for you.Masturbation is natural. It is a perfectly healthy activity at any age.
There is no problem in
masturbating as long as someone enjoys it. The problem arises when people feel
guilty or anxious about it.More than half of men and women
feel guilty about masturbation.
Also it doesn’t matter how many times a person masturbates. It becomes a problem when he/she thinks about masturbation all day long.

Now the question arises that masturbation lowers testosterone levels which is needed for muscle growth and fat loss so how will it not affect the fitness goals of a person.
According to research the amount of testosterone lost is very minimal and the body recovers to its normal levels within a few hours.
The
problem is that people think if they don’t masturbate they will have increased
levels in testosterone which will help them to gain muscle.According
to research it increases the testosterone levels but its stops after 6-7 days
and will not keep increasing.
